When Wind turbine producers like MHI Vestas Offshore Wind erect or repair wind turbines at sea, safety is a big issue. That's why employees are sent to train safety regularly. The downside to that is, that it takes quite a lot of time, and frankly it can be quite boring, if you'd rather be on site to get the work done.
Safety'N'Mind is a smartphone app, that deals with this. The goal is to give employees an option to train safety whenever they like - and to make training more fun with built in motivation through fun games and a well chosen reward system.

This app addresses a problem: Learning is boring, people are not motivated. The app should be fun and motivating. So the presentation is heavy on argument, light on design. It's the idea, we wanted to sell, not the product.
Development
We went through several fases of development. Once the overall concept is in place, it is a lot easier to develop minor parts for an overall congenial feel.
